  • The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer. Since she is the brilliant mind behind the Twilight Saga, I’m swooning even more.
  • Blue striped polo shirt. The fact that it’s striped. I know it’s irrelevant, but there’s something about it that I can’t pinpoint. The color looks good on you. I also happen to wear a lot of stripes, but also keeping in mind that correlation does not imply causation. Moving on.
  • Italy. Duly noted.
  • The facial hair. I’m happy to see it’s still there. Looks good on ya. I have to be honest, at first it through me off because I never saw you with it. A futile attempt at trying to look/seem more mature? Probably. Is laziness to blame? Possibly. Either way, I am not complaining.
  • You didn’t bring a book this time. Instead you brought something else to occupy yourself. I don’t blame you, the slowness can drive anyone crazy.
  • I was asking another colleague about the device we use at work and he said that if it freezes, I can use another one because “you can’t wait” for too long if it’s busy. You happen to come back after taking a phone call and the way you repeated what he said almost made me smile, but I had to stop myself. So he’s actually playful, he laughs, he jokes around, and all this while he was standing next to me.
  • The way you passed by me to get to something you needed. You were SO CLOSE I swear I held my breath for a second when you were behind me.
  • When you came back, I had to tell you something and you suddenly had your serious face on and my brain suddenly became too fast for my own mouth. The way you splayed your hands on the table in front of you, accompanied by your serious expression, was very distracting it almost rendered me speechless.
  • You didn’t have to, but you went all the way to where I was, got so close to me while explaining the things I needed to get. You need to stop doing that. I stop breathing when you’re near me; one move and we’d be touching. I feel like you can hear my heart going crazy inside me.
  • The way you asked me if I can go and see if I can fix the printer was so adorable even though you were pressed for time. Sadly, I couldn’t figure it out. I came out and you were coming towards me. “I tried,” I said sheepishly. “No luck?” you replied. Then you said something about trying it yourself. All this while smiling. Oh my goodness.
  • Before I forget, I never noticed it before but this time you wore a watch. I don’t know why I find it so attractive.
  • You hurriedly closed the door as if I was going to get on the elevator without you. There’s no rush, I’m waiting for you.
  • On the way out, you went a different way and I don’t know if you were aware that we had company. You still wished me a good night when you noticed I was going another way and all I was able to do was turn around and look at you because I was far away. How I wish that person wasn’t there.

Oh honey, it’s always a good night when we’re together.
