Life’s been crazy lately–it’s a constant cycle of me being at school, at work, or at the library studying. Writing has always been really helpful in terms of gauging how my mental health is, and right now I really need it. I woke up earlier than I usually do, so why not write? My last journal entry was the 8th of August and my last post (somewhere on the Internet) was August 14. I really need this.

Since starting uni, I’ve just been a constant ball of stress. Even when I’m about to fall asleep in bed at night, I would find myself clenching my jaw for no reason, my back so tense and rigid, and my hands balled up into fists. I’m always waking up tired, but what’s new? Iced coffee has been my friend lately.

I also tried taking Ashwagandha root because it can supposedly help with stress response along with its other health benefits, but I haven’t really seen any significant difference. This is my cue to look for another medicine that can help manage my stress. I own a planner, but my time management skills still suck. It annoys me because I feel like I should have mastered this by now, but nope.

I’ve met a lot of new people which has been pretty overwhelming for me. I’m not that good with remembering people’s names if I meet a lot of them at once; it takes a while for me.

My plans for today: go to Target and get some much needed vitamins, go to a friend’s house to do homework (fun!!), then get myself mentally ready for another busy week ahead.
